Applicants who are registered with Praktijk Speelkracht before 1 April 2022 can receive a full reimbursement from the Youth Act until 31 December 2022. After that, this reimbursement possibility expires.
As of April 1, 2022, there will be no reimbursement available from the Youth Act at Praktijk Speelkracht. This means that applicants who register and enroll from April 1, 2022 onwards will have to pay for the treatment themselves. In some cases there is a partial refund from the supplementary health insurance available. The session fee is 85 euros, an introduction is free. Depending on the health care insurance of the person seeking help, a (partial) reimbursement is available for occupational therapy. Drama therapy falls under ‘professional therapy’ and therefore under alternative medicine. Praktijk Speelkracht is a member of the FVB. This overview shows which supplementary health insurances provide a partial reimbursement for occupational therapists who are affiliated with the FVB.
When, during the treatment, another form of therapy appears to be desirable, I will, if necessary, arrange for a transfer within my network. I work closely with KleurSpel, a local youth care provider. This creates short lines within our network, and the person seeking help is and remains in focus when he or she comes to us for care. I work together with these care providers in a multidisciplinary structure and can consult or refer (internally) if necessary, so that the person seeking help gets the help he needs.
